'Metamorphosis' is a discovery of yoga and the spirit of awakening. Summing up the spirit of his new series, the artist says: "It is a journey of a different kind. The body is in a state of total stillness. It is the mind that soars. There is no destination. The journey is the reward. It shaped my world view, gave me a fresh perspective. Its most profound impact has been some place deep within. It is something I cannot describe in words. I am not a man of words. I have taken recourse to images. Images from an inner metamorphosis. Landscapes of the mind and soul."

People say art as an investment is great. I feel firstly investment in yourself through mind, body, and soul is greater, finding one’s highest self and living the life of one’s dream as an artist or a teacher or a doctor through consistent care of all three. Here Venkatesh has achieved yoga through art and art through yoga, the subject appears when the artist is ready like the teacher appears when the student is ready. When I had been to Venkatesh’s studio I felt the exhibition is not the end the journey continues.
